Contesting from Multiple Constituency

The word, constituency means - a body of voters in a specified area who elect a representative to a legislative body.

Election is not a political entertainment. It is a serious process in democracy.

Conducting election is a very expensive process. Once Karamchand Mohandas raised concern about Rs 750 as the salary increase for Governor General of India.

India as a 'poor' country; once we were poor in cash; but not in character.

Now, we have wealth of cash; but poor in character.

Anyone contesting from multiple constituencies should be considered as disqualification.

There is only one seat available for a person. They cannot occupy two seats in the parliament.

Earlier, these so called leaders have no confidence in winning the election; so they contest from multiple constituencies as a fail-over.

Nowadays these leaders contest from multiple constituencies as a strategy for propaganda.

In  future, leaders may contest from ten constituencies and may win all ten also.

They had to resign from the nine and force those constituencies to go into by-election.

Election not only cost money from the government; tax payer's money. But also all the contestants have to invest crores of rupees for their campaign.

Naturally, they have to get involved in corruption to recover all these expenditure.

So, when a person contest from multiple constituencies, disqualify that person.

Let all get an opportunity to participate in the democracy process; it is not designed for a few.
