Garbage in; garbage out.



It was most popular in the early days of computing, but applies even more today, when powerful computers can produce large amounts of erroneous information in a short time. 

Early programmers were required to test virtually each program step and cautioned not to expect that the resulting program would "do the right thing" when given imperfect input. The underlying principle was noted by the inventor of the first programmable computing device design:

On two occasions I have been asked, "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?" ... I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.

814 million people will elect and send their representatives to the parliament.

543 persons will be elected as representatives of people of India.

814 million people is going to elect 543 people representatives.

543 persons going to represent 814 million people.

Each representative in the parliament is going to represent 1.5 million people.

On the whole, these 543 persons are going to write the fate of 814 million people; destiny of the nation will be in the hands of 543.

Each representative counts.

The representative is not just representing his or her constituency. The representative will be part of policy making process for the whole nation. A person elected from Pondicherry will make a decision whether the country needs to go on war; so it is a major responsibility.

Likewise a person elected from Patna will be a part of the decision making process whether the country invest in space program.

So, all 543 are very important.

It is a very serious recruitment process.

If you elect dummy candidate as people representative, then how could you expect excellent performance.

Each citizen needs to act with total and complete responsibility.

Right now, we call them as MP.

MP refers to Member of Parliament.

That doesn't make any sense; it doesn't convey the responsibility of the MP.

Citizens elect their representative and send them to parliament.

In fact, nowadays we don't even call them as MP.

We just busy in doing our mathematics; we call them as SEATS.

Seat adjustment; how many seats they will score;

How could a SEAT perform in the parliament?

You need to have the human value to the process.

It is not a seat; it is not a member. It is all about representative of the people.

One person is going to represent 1.5 million.

On the whole, these 543 will be responsible for the welfare of 814 million.

What goes in; comes out.

If you send garbage; then you could expect garbage to come out of parliament.

So, it is each one's responsibility to elect a good character individual as their representative.

Let all 543 be the best of the best.

Even one garbage in these 543 will pollute and corrupt the rest.

So, elect with care and responsibility good human being with wonderful character and integrity.
