Advani challenges Narendra Modi

Pamphlets for Advani as Prime Minister distributed in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: In a major embarrassment for the Bhartiya Janata Party and it's contender for the top post — Narendra Modi — pamphlets seeking votes for making LK Advani the Prime Minister are being distributed in Durg Lok Sabha constituency of Chhattisgarh, which goes to polls on April 24.

"Advani ne diya Chhattisgarh raj, ab unhe dein pradhan mantri ka taaj" (Advani declared Chhattisgarh a state, now crown him the Prime Minister), says a leaflet purportedly distributed on behalf of the BJP candidate and sitting MP, Saroj Pandey. Besides the party logo and an appeal for a vote for BJP, the pamphlet carries photographs of Advani, chief minister Raman Singh, and Pandey.

Interestingly, in his public address in Bhilai on Sunday afternoon, Modi made a passing reference to the distribution of certain "fake" pamphlets, purportedly by BJP. Dubbing it a Congress conspiracy, Modi urged people not to believe its contents, which he himself didn't mention. However, he insisted that all decisions in the BJP are taken after a lot of considerations and he was proud of being chosen as the Prime Minister candidate.

Notwithstanding Modi's assertions of a conspiracy behind the distribution of these leaflets, some local BJP leaders claimed the error had happened as publicity material of the 2009 Lok Sabha elections was used. While no one was willing to come on record, those at the helm of the publicity and media cell did not rule out possibilities of such an error.

This is the last chance for Lal Kishan Advani.

This may work very well.

This is good even for Narendra Modi.

One term as Lal Kishan Advani as the Prime Minister and
Narendra Modi as Deputy Prime Minister.

In that way, Narendra Modi could get three terms.

All BJP Chief Ministers prefer Lal Kishan Advani to Narendra Modi.

With this current election, they have seen the challenges of Gujarati team of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

Even Congress would support Lal Kishan Advani.

Congress cannot form government in 2014.
At the same time, Congress wants to stop the growth of regional leaders.
But Congress cannot support Narendra Modi.
So, Congress would support Lal Kishan Advani.

Even regional leaders may support Lal Kishan Advani.
Jayalalitha and Mamata may support Lal Kishan Advani.

So, it is not outsiders.
It is insiders; inside the BJP; they are challenging Narendra Modi.

Perhaps,  that is the message from the Bihar leader for all.
The Bihar leader has the blessing of Narendra Modi.

It is Lal Kishan Advani; he may the first person;
Lal Kishan Advani may be the first person to leave India and go to Pakistan.

The real fight for dharma just began.

You cannot blame these individuals.
Blame the constitution.

In future, the head of the Executive branch should be directly elected by the people of India.
Not by these 543 MPs.

Then, nobody could stop Narendra Modi.
Now, anyone can stop Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi could have acted as a soft person for some more time;
then, around 2015, Narendra Modi could have demonstrated his authoritarian quality.

Now, everyone has experienced his authoritarian rule.
Anyone, who could stop Narendra Modi will emerge as a hero.

So, Lal Kishan Advani and Raman Singh may emerge as hero
